How to prefix proprietorship firm name on PAN card

One of my client having Proprietorship business he want to PAN card in the name of Proprietorship name How can i apply & solved this?????

PAN card can't be obtained in the name of proprietorship firm. Income tax return can be filed only in the name of proprietor individual name only. No need for another PAN in the name of proprietorship firm.

Proprietorship concern has its legal identity by virtue of Proprietor itself and has no separate legal standing and so No question of having a separate PAN for Proprietorship, under the existing laws.
You are free to use Proprietor's PAN for all required legal purposes.
If you need any entity proof for the Proprietorship concern, you may get regsiter with any other Authority and get an entity proof like GST, Shop and Est Registration, etc.
