Dear Expert, Can you please explain how to pay service tax online. Is it possible to pay service tax online the 1st time ? do we need to register online? Awaiting your reply Ami

Yes you have to register first online, if existing then department will send mail to you of user id and passwords, if new then you can register by yourself..
you can file the half yearly returns in that as ST-1/3

i think you are asking to pay service tax online. go to your banker fillup for internet banking he will provide you user name and password. than you can pay you service tax, TDs, Excise etc. online.
