how to open office 2007 file in office 2003

14 September 2009 I have office 2003 installed in my system.

However I receive some file in office 2007.
Could u please guide me as to how to open those files

14 September 2009 you can not open 2007 in 2003 but you can do vice versa

To open Microsoft Office Word 2007 .docx or .docm files with Microsoft Office Word 2003, you need to install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint File Formats and any necessary Office updates.

06 November 2009 OTHER WAY......

When you will open your Office 2007 file then use the option in the file Menu Save As there you will get the option Save a copy of the document in the format "Word 97-2003 Document" give the proper path where you could remember the file have been put. once this has been done open the same file in the Office 2003, the file will be properly opened up.

But mind it for conversion you will have to have the Office 2007 to make conversion to the lower version such as Office 2003.
