22 September 2014 Dear Sir,
Plenty of Income tax return are being filled by me & msg received on mobile containing acknowledgement 0000000000 for AY 14-15 has been processed & intimation u/s 143(1) will be sent on you mail id. I want to know how to get PAN no through acknowledgement?? becoz it we don't know which for which PAN is this message received on cell....

22 September 2014 but to view 26AS, need to login in ITD site but don't know properly to which PAN's 26AS does acknowledgement belong, which's msg received on Phone...becuz msg doesn't show the PAN & employee Name....

22 September 2014 Rupesh - how will form 26AS provide acknowledgment no. of the return??

Natasha - unfortunately, you cannot. I believe these are the returns filed by you...So kindly check your records. The acknowledgment no. carries the date on which the return was filed. that should help you narrow down the search area.

22 September 2014 Nikhil sir, It means one by one I will have to track all records with the acknowledgement No recived through sms but date is not mentioned with the ack...that's a time taking process by us. ITD should change..

22 September 2014 last six digits of the acknowledgment no. is the date...

22 September 2014 for eg. if the return is filed on 31 July 2014. then last six digits will be 310714
