How to find value of taxable service

15 March 2014 hello everyone. I have one doubt regarding how to calculate the value of taxable service if gross amt charged by service provider is rs. 4000 and rate is 12.36%. I want to knw the value of taxable service and service tax separately.

15 March 2014 If service provider has billed Rs. 4000/- ,Gross value would be calculated by reverse method ( 4000*12.36/112.36)
However it is mentioned to noted that service tax must be shown separately in invoice as per service tax rules
