HOW TO FILE ONLINE INCOME TAX RETURN?WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE

1. Download the ITR forms from income tax website.
2. Fill the form.
3. Generate xml file.

Its very easy to file returns online.
Simply download the ITR form according to your income sources, fill the relevant data and also follow the instruction as given in the Form.

No Software is required.
1. The Income tax dept provides the ITR forms in soft copy after a few days (can be months also) in its website.
2. U can download the respective ITR form applicable to u.
3. Once u fill the form and validate and calculate tax liability, a xml file will be generated.
4. U need to have a log on facility in Income tax website.
Register in "https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/"
5. Once u log on, u can select the AY and then upload the xml file generated.
6. Then ITV-V (acknowledgement) will be generated. Take a print, sign it and send to Bangalore IT dept.
