How to enter closing stock value in tally 9

i m not able to enter closing stock figure in tally.

plese let me how to do the same.

19 December 2011 Enter the same when u modify group of CLOSING STOCK. Enter the date of close of FY also just before entering amount.

20 December 2011 Are u maintaining inventory in tally item wise, or just maintaining the accounts only?
Method will differ in both the cases.
