HOW to Create User Name and Password for Salaried Employees

21 August 2010 Hi i am trying since one week for getting password and user id it is showing your name is not Matched and last name, Surname also it showing Not Matched . Can any body help me in this Regard. How can i proceed in this Regard for my Username and Password for my ITR 1 Filing for the YF 2008-09

21 August 2010 User Name is PAN number

Password you can give your option but keep The first letter is CAPS and use 1 Special character like @ _

21 August 2010 you can try to fill one Income tax e-payment challan pur your PAN then it will give your exact name in PAN. you fill the same name

21 August 2010 The method explained by Mr. Ramesh, will give you the full name in which the PAN is registered. So it will contain middle name and surname also.
