can anyone tell me how to attempt Direct tax and Indirect Tax Exam in ca final Exams.

20 July 2011 In CA final attempt as a master of the DT and IDT.

You have to go in depth of the provisions and you have to find that how these provisions are having implication in the relevant case laws.

I do not advise you to remember all the case laws by names & ITR Nos. But for the sake of generating confidence, you must try to remember just a few of them. If you keep in mind 3 case laws daily, your confidence level will certainly boost.

One most important thing in taxation is-
Interest. If you are getting bored switch over to another subject, but if you are really enjoying the chapter, finish it today only at the cost of skipping even other subjects.

Taxation is like small story book. Enjoy till you can. You will forget nothing.
