How long is "passing a group" valid?

Dear Sir/Madam
There are rules regarding period of validity for exemption of papers in CA exam groups i.e to the next 3 attempts.
Is the same applicable to group passing as well?. I have passed CA Final Group 2 is May 2010 under new syllabus. Now do I have to write both the groups in Nov 15?
