Go through Finance Act 1994, Amendments of 2012, Service Tax rules and Notifications of CBEC which are available in the internet.
Also refer decisions of Courts which are not abundant as the concept of Service Tax is new.
Refer some SCNs and Order-in-original to have an insight how the laws related to service tax are interpreted and misinterpreted.
