how can we get audited balance sheet and profit & loss account of a company

You can get the financials of the listed companies from BSE/NSE sites or the best site for the financials of listed companies is Moneycontrol.com, and if you want financials, director reports, other info about the companies which are not listed on any stock exchange you can directly get it from the Ministry of Corporate affairs(MCA) site after providing some basis documents of your identity and a minimum amount to extract the documents. You will get the documents on your mail ID after 1–2 working days.
