how can i get knowledge of technical analysis

19 December 2009 my name is rohit & m doing ca.I have 3years experience in stock market, especially in derivative segment.i want to know about technical analysis course ,from where i can ,how much its cost ,everything about it... plaese give me a valuable advise.

19 December 2009 Technical Analysis is not something that some1 can teach u.....
For sake of ur query, these courses are generally offered by the technical analysts or some institutes also.
I am not sure abt who r the faculties at those institutes.
If you are really interested i would suggest you to go to the BSE site, try out and understand various indicators they provide, and then only if u r further interested u can go for such courses. Try to listen to the technical analysts on various tv channels and try to understand the various indicators and patterns they use for the analysis.

19 December 2009 Without knowing the technical analysis; if you are engaged in future and options; it may happen that in "future" you may loose your money and thenafter no "option" will remain with you except to leave the stock market.

Last year in 2008; many persons lost their entire net worth. See the differences of prices of shares in the month of September and October,2008. Mostly shares which were quoted at 200; were available even at less Rs.100 within a month!

Specially when on a particular day; if market crashes/moves to an extent of 500-700 points; heavy losses are suffered by Derivative Operators.

In most of the incidents; the gainers are only punters who operate the market.

Technical analysis is good when you are investor.

This is not one day job which can be explained in writing.

Many times; stock exchange organize such type of seminars for three days the fee of which ranges to Rs.10,000/-

You can see advertisement in newspapers whenever such seminars are organized.
