14 July 2016 i m an ipcc students,nd wanted to know what shall be the strategy while preparing IDT,....wat should be the order of preparing chapters,wat parts i hv do thoroughly nd wid proper attention. ur advice will be valuable towards the amount of my efforts.

14 July 2016 First understand every section conceptually.
Then focus more on those topics whose weightage is more as per ICAI past papers.
Then solve PM & u'll easily pass..

15 July 2016 During the course of your preparation, make an effort in understanding the provisions thoroughly rather than mugging up. The key strategy to be followed is level of understanding rather than rushing through chapters. Make an effort to have your own short hand written notes which will help you for revision at frequent intervals.

As mentioned by the Expert- try laying your hands on ICAI publication such as Practice Manual, to find out the type of problems asked in the immediate past examinations.
