Housing rent exemption

29 December 2011 My home town is pune & I am paying rent to father as my wife & childerne staying in pune.Now I am alone shifted to Mumbai for Job purpose & there also paying rent. In that case pls let me know can I claim both the rent for I.T purpose. pls guide

29 December 2011 House Rent allowance can be claimed only the House rent paid for the house which staying by the employee.so cannot claim the rent paid for the house staying by Parents & others
