Hello,
I have purchased flat but still I have not got possession of the same but I am paying EMI for the same to bank..so can I take this deduction from my IT or I have to Waite till possession. I am salaried employee.

the interest can be claimed in 5 equal parts....starting from the date of possession

you can take deduction of intt . during the construction period . after completion of house in five eqaly installment from year when passion recd.
