Dear friends, if someone let out half of the portion of his shop(commercial property) on rent then whether he can assess his income from rent under "Income from House Property" head or any other head. Secondly, whether he can assess his income from business under Sec. 44 AD, if his annual income does not increase 60.00 lacs

if he let out commercial property other than business purpose than the income will be considered as income from house property.
