06 November 2017 If the property against which municipal tax is paid is used by assessee for the purpose of business, he surely can claim municipal taxes paid by him as expenditure.

07 November 2017 If The tenant has income from PGBP, the answer by Sumeet is perfect, however a non PGBP assessee can add it to the rent paid for claiming the HRA benefit.
