12 February 2013 When there are more than 1 property held then income from property of 1 house is nil and how to show another properties income in the return ?

12 February 2013 it is clearly mention in the income tax return form regarding self occupied property and other other is rented..


so in this situation you can describe one property under self occupied column and other under rented property.

14 February 2013 Even if the property is not let out , being an honest tax payer, you have to treat the same as Deemed let Out Property. In such a situation you have to consider its expected rent as Income by applying certain criteria.
