A person running hotel business only and charged Rs : 1200/- per room . He has not provide any food,drinks etc in rooms and there is no restorant in building. Is service tax applicable or not ?????

service tax is aaplicable for all the rooms having tariff more than Rs.1000/= per day.
The threshold limit is Rs.10 00 000/=
