I'm asked to prepare future projections for hospital income and exp. so, would like to know which expenses will come under direct expenses and indirect expenses?

Indirect expenses

Depreciation on equipments
Office Expenses
Staff welfare expenses

If you are preparing income and expenditure account, then you can take all expenses in one account. There is no direct or indirect like while preparing P&L A/C.
