Hose rent exemption

14 September 2017 I paid rent to my NRO son rupees 96000 per annum in a lump sum (at 8000/pm) through one Cheque during this financial year. I am retired with no HRA. Now that Rs. 5000 per month is exempt can I claim exemption up to Rs 60000? In FY 2017-18 ?.
