25 August 2013 iam doing my CMA final. i wrote CMA final for 3 times til now and the problem is i dont have any coaching, due to some reason i cannot write in the coming attempt, my plan is to attend the exam in june 2014 by then it will be 5th attempt, after completing in the 5th attempt will my qualification have value, i mean my doubt is can i get a job in companies? please help me by answering this query.

25 August 2013 What matters most is the knwoledge that you posses rather than the no of attempts. So rest assured of a good career when you become CMA provided you have good knowledge.

I will tell you a story told by one of very senior CA.

One of his students passed CA Final after more than 20 attempts. He was very happy but all other students were laughing. He asked why are you guys laughing?

They said he took so many attempts how will he find a job?

Teacher said--Guys are you MAD. He is a celebrity. His name is in papers. Any good company will hire him thinking this person must have something in him that he never gave up. They will salute his never say die spirit. Nobody knows you. You passed in 3 attempts. Above all he is better than you guys in all subjects. He has studied the same subject 20+ times more than you have.

So just cheer up. And have the same Never Say Die attitude.

26 August 2013 Thank u so much sir, i was suggested by many people that instead of attempting number of times its better to go to some other course like MBA or Bank POs, so one of my concerns is about the 3 continuous failure and another one is whether i can get a job, ur reply is really encouraging, if anybody suggests me again am very confident to give an answer with the help ur encouraging words.
