i have my atempt in may 09 . i just want to ask bout my study schedule so that there is ample time left for revision . i want to give both groups in 1 attempt

wat bout books for law . strategic mngmnt and taxation .?

what about these padhuka series ?

which are the subjects one should self study .?.
kindly guide me regarding this .

02 May 2008 For Law use the book "First lessons in Business and Corporate Law" written by M.P.Vijay Kumar and for Tax either the book of Vinod Singhania or Paduka whichever u prefer

02 May 2008 Don't go for Paduka for any subject.
As per my Experiance u may opt for Study material n refer N.D.Kapoor for Law.
Notes provided by ur tax teacher r best but if u have a time u may refer V.K.Singhania.

Plan out ur studies properly, manage time well & be prepared to work very very hard.

U r want to attempt both gps. But when u study... plan in such a way that u prepare at least one of the gps so as to clear it & score much more than 200...so that any aggregate shortage in the other gp can be made for. In the other, prepare at least 2 sub such that u score more than 60 & just pass rest of the papers.

Sub-wise...u can do following:

1 Study accounts & cost AT LEAST for 1 hr every day till exams.. This is other than coaching time. Also try practice/solving ques in writing.. don't solve similar ques.. try ques with varied adjustments

2 try cumulative study for law/IDT/DT. gp study will help.

3 make short notes for audit & Info tech.. that u can easily revise.

Try to save 3 months for revision.

Girish ahuja is the best book for tax. N. D Kapoor for law.
