24 March 2010 stock in process means partially completed goods, parts, or subassemblies that are no longer part of the raw materials inventory and not yet part of the finished products inventory.

24 March 2010 finished goods means completely manufactured products which ready for sale and delivery to the marketplace.

stock in process: under production cycle
finished goods: producion cycle completed
stores items: : General consumable items used in production.
spares items:Extra parts kept for machinery in spare to be used in case of need

which parts are my raw material & which are my consumable items.?

24 March 2010 I think while asking the Query You should have told these facts :

Raw material will be ur rods, sheets, old machine parts used

and consumables items like welding rods, used cloth, greese etc
