GTA Rules in relation to export

07 October 2008 If we receive a GTA service in relation to export sale, whether it is exempt under GTA Rules of service tax or not.
please clarify.

07 October 2008 Yes it exempted under notification 41/2007 on fulfillment of certain conditions.

07 October 2008 sir thanks for the opinion. but sir i want to know about GTA rules. if we received transportion service from GTA in relation to export of goods, then we are liable to pay service tax on freight amount or it is exempted under GTA Rules
