20 October 2017 Whether penalty for late filing of GSTR 3B for August 2017 was waived?? i filed return after due date for august and penalty for last month is being charged while filing GSTR 3B for september

20 October 2017 it is waived but the corresponding changes are NOT reflected in the GST portal.

22 October 2017 But i had paid rs 3000 as late fees for august. whether that wud b refunded??

22 October 2017 No refund. Late fee was not waived. Refund will be available only if the calculation by portal was wrong.

22 October 2017 late fee should appear in your ledger for the next month. (Right now, it is not appearing.....but it should appear in a short while from now)
