23 April 2018 How to calculate late fee for gstr3b for the month of march 2018? late fee is auto calculated but the late fee amount is more for the last 3 days. so please reply soon i want to file it today

23 April 2018 In GSTR 3B late fee calculated for no of late days and it's automatically shown in next GSTR 3B return... If you are filed your March GSTR 3B return is later then this late fee shown in your next GSTR 3B return... As per my view., The late fee shown in your March GSTR 3B return...? If yes... then the late fee for your previous returns. Check out the return dates for your previous GST returns.

24 April 2018 In GST system from October 2017 onward late fee is reflecting in next month's return. If there is any late fee reflecting in your March 2018 GSTR3B then it must be of February or any other previous month not for March 2018. Late fee is impose able even if you had submitted the return in time but had filed later on. In such case late fee will be payable from the date of submission to the date of filling. Please check your previous returns in this context also. Late fee for the month of March 2018 will be shown in next month's return.

24 April 2018 If you are filling NIL return then the late fee will be calculated per day at the rate of Rs.10/- under CGST and Rs.10/- under SGST Act respectively from the due date to the filling date or from the submission date to the filling date and for other returns late fee is Rs.25/- per day in both the acts that is CGST and SGST Act each.
