26 October 2017 Trader (A) had filled his GSTR-3B for the month of July, 2017 and by mistake, claimed ITC on purchase say Rs. 1,00,000 / - from Trader (B). While Trader (B) has raised invoice in the month of August, 2017.

Now on filing GSTR-2 by Trader (A), What steps he have to taken. Is any GST is payable ?.

Kindly guide me.

26 October 2017 No more restrictions if mistakes in GSTR 3B.. So, Dont be worry...

Go to file your GSTR 1, 2 and 3 returns as Correctly and Carefully...

But in my case Trader (A) claimed ITC on purchase in the month of July, While he received bill in August. Now in filling GSTR-2, If Trader (A) showing Short ITC than in GSTR-3B, Is GST Payable ?

27 October 2017 Yes if you have taken Itc wrongly in Gst 3b then you have to pay differecial tax with interest. File your Gstr2 correctly and take Itc in the month of August return.
