14 August 2017 I m a transporter. My buses are being used by a company to ferry its passengers with its factory premises. From the office site to work site. Company pays reverse charges (GST)for the others goods and services being carried by them . But in particular my case the campany wants me to register under GST and pay the charges under Hire of vehicle. I m in a fix plz guide.

14 August 2017 What is your contract for ? Is it providing buses to the Company with driver which they are free to use as per their convenience or is it for transport of employees of the Company?

14 August 2017 Yes it is for providing bus with a driver where the salary of the driver is also paid by the company. The company pays me a fixed charge for the bus. Another bus is engaged with the company where the employee children are carried to the school and back to residential colony.

14 August 2017 Where bus is given on rent, it is not covered by reverse charge. You have to pay GST.

15 August 2017 My turnover is less than 20 Lakh and getting into GST would be too cumbersome for a small business. Is there any way where i can save my self from getting a GST.
