Is Franchisee fees to be paid Franchisor is reverse charge applicable or not. The Franchisor is Non Resident Company.

Franchise services were not specifically covered under reverse charge mechanism under service tax law. However in case such services are imported then the same was covered under reverse charge mechanism and in such case tax was required to be paid by the franchisee located in the taxable territory.
