GST Registration Suspended by department

26 July 2021 X is a Proprietor registered in GST.

Department has suspended the registration for reason other than GST eturn filling and mismatch of ITC.

My question is:

(i) Is X can issue Sales Invoice during the suspended period ?

(ii) Is X can issue E Way bill also during the suspended period ?

Reply on urgent basis.

26 July 2021 I think the portal doesn't allow e-way bill to be issued during suspension. Check in portal. If it allows then you can issue.

26 September 2021 As per my view, One should not issues invoices or any transactions if the GSTN Number is cancelled
