does a stock broker require to take registration under GST irrespective of his turnover

GST registration is mandatory for all agents and stock brokers. The GST Act states that any persons who make taxable supply of goods or services or both on behalf of other taxable persons whether as an agent or otherwise must be registered under GST irrespective of aggregate turnover.
