Hi,
Does gst registration is required for Registred medical practitioner(BAMS ) when in consultancy contract with a hotel and his limit is exceeding the threshold limit.
Please advise

Healthcare services are exempted under GST. Registration not required...

Just to add ,This is a fixed consultancy contract with the doctor and Place of supply is a Hotel where he is supposed to provide the services to hotel guest as per requirment .It is in other way docter working as a consultant with a Spa of a hotel

In such a case registration is required as service provided to spa for which GST is applicable.
