I want to know the GST rate for readymade garments and what are the item could be elligible for input credit.

Please reply at the earleist.

08 April 2017 Presently Textile sector is generally not taxed under Central Excise. It appears that textile sector shall be covered under GST, with lower rates for unbranded products. We should wait for 19th may when Tariff is likely to be declared.
