07 September 2017 Dear Experts.
We are paying Rent Rs. 10000 PM of office. Pls clarify do we need pay 18% GST under RCM.

Also let me know will I have to issue any invoice for the same

07 September 2017 rent on non residential property is subjected to GST under RCM.

07 September 2017 If the land lord is not registered in GST, then it's a inward supply liable to reverse charge u/s 9(4), then you have to make the RCM payment and is liable to raise an invoice & Payment voucher.

07 September 2017 Sir the rent of July is paid in august so pls let me know in which month tax liability under RCM will arise whether in July return or august returns

07 September 2017 Sir let me state the materials fact of the issue. Actually the Rent had been due on 31/7/2017 for July. So and we had made payment thereof on 12/8/2017

So pls tell me when we have to pay GST under RCM whether in the return of July or August's return
