Pvt Ltd company wants to pay the salaries to directors monthly.
Then GST will be applicable or not???
If applicable then what is the GST rate???
Please suggest????

Director’s Salary , : If it is in terms of employment it will not be covered. Any supply by an employee is outside the preview of GST itself. But if it is not under any employment contract it will be covered. In addition to it , RCM will be applicable on all the other services by the person in the capacity of Director .

GST not to be paid on RCM if director is salary is being paid to Director
And there is an appointment letter / agreement for appointment of director

No GST is to be paid to director ( if he is on roll of the company as an employee and there is an agreement / appointment letter for that effect )
Any other services rendered by director in addition to normal duties such as sitting fee / consultant is subject of GST
