Gst on commercial and residential rent receipt

16 September 2017 Dear Sir/Madam,

Whether we will have to charge 18% GST on commercial rent receipt ?

1) I have given a shop on rent to a partnership firm for office administration purpose. Is it called commercial rent receipt ?

2) I have given a flat on rent to an house wife for residential purpose. Is it called residential rent ? Whether on such type of rent receipt there wont be any chargeable GST ?

16 September 2017 1. Yes. It's commercial and charge GST. 2. Yes It's residential. Don't be charge GST....

16 September 2017 Rgds to u and so many best wishes to u mr raja ram. Nowadays one more query is with me nowadays. While uploading GST Return of any private limited company I have to use DSC. While uploading with DSC the below given message appears on screen :

Failed to establish connection to the server . Kindly restart the Emsigner. Please guide me and oblige. Yrs tarique rizvi 982 1630 130

16 September 2017 First of Clear cookies in your browser. You ll download fresh emsigner and DSC related software. After run emsigner as administrator... Then you can try to DSC sign in "Internet Explorer"
