16 June 2017 Person below 1.5 cr turnover are not required to follow HSN. B/w 1.5 cr to 5 cr shall use First 2 digit of HSN Code. Above 5 crore 4 digit HSN Code is required Those who import export has to mandatorily follow 8 digit HSN Code.
