Gst collection limit on rent

11 July 2019 My Claint Collection Rent From 1.7.2019 Monthly of Rs. 3 Lacks and Total Yearly 27 Lacks. He is eligible for collecting GST or not.

This Year GST Limit is 40 lacks or 20 Lacks. from When Applicable

Please clarify this sir

13 July 2019 According to the GST Act, renting out of an immovable property would be treated as a SUPPLY OF SERVICES
However , rent out a residential property for residential purpose, it is exempt from GST.

"The Threshold for Registration for SERVICE PROVIDERS would continue to be Rs 20 lakhs
