Query : GST cancellation process

I have Taken GST Registration on 07/09/2019 & till now I Have not Done any monthly Returns and Now i want Cancel my GST Registration.. But there is some around 20000/- Input Available in fy 2019-20 ...What to do sir ???? please Tell me the cancellation process & total Penalty ,Interest , late filing fee & is there any cancellation charges ...???
please do the needful sir

29 August 2020 file you gst return, and after that you have to file for cancellation.
may possible you number already cancel by deptt. due to non filing of return.
fine penality to be paid in cash by you, its not adj with input credit.

29 August 2020 You need to file GST returns, the applicable interest and late filling fees will be applied which needs to be paid in cash. Whatever ITC you have can be claimed and un-adjusted ITC will be lost. Post this you can file for cancellation. In case of no business / outward supplies, you will have to file NIL returns till the date of cancellation Order.
