My friend gst has been cancelled he didn’t replied to the department as there is a liability to pay tax he didn’t filed the returns and it got cancelled now he wants to buy stock from another state the supplier is saying your gst is cancelled I cannot generate way bill now he wants the gst number under the same trade name how can he get

Any registered taxable person can apply for revocation of cancellation of GST registration within a period of 30 days from the date of service of order of cancellation of GST registration. It must be noted that the application for revocation can be done only during the circumstances when the registration has been cancelled by the proper officer on his own motion.
In case of more than 30 days apply for new registration.
In case of more than 30 days apply for new registration.
