08 June 2011 I have a query regarding retirment benefits for the employees (Gratuity and Leave Encashment). In this we are required to get the acturial valuation done as per AS-15, but is it mandatorily required to recognise the same amount as valued by an actuary in the books of accounts of the company every year?
