Please clear my doubt as detailed below

Sir My Completed service for gratuity calculation is 9 years 6 months 3 days.my query is can i consider it 9 years or 10 years to calculate gratuity and please provide any rule copy for the same

13 July 2019 Sir,Thanks for giving reply sir,but the link which u sent is showing wrong if in entered 9 years 6 months it is coming to Rs.45,811 ,if i take it 9 years 7 month it is showing to Rs.50901.00.i am requesting you to please clarify my service is 9 years 6 months 3 days.whether i treat 6 months 3 days as 7 months or 6 months

13 July 2019 Take it as 7 months exceeding 6 months will be considered 1 year.

27 July 2019 It is calculated according to this formula: Last drawn salary (basic salary plus dearness allowance) X number of completed years of service X 15/26.

Thank you for immediate reply and i asked you about gratuity for death cases. as per my knowledge no of years of service in death cases calculated to her / him retirment age from date of joining date.please let us know the calculation

28 July 2019 For death cases gratuity is paid based on completed year of service.
