A person having Total Income in excess of ₹ 5 Lakhs, shall furnish a return of income for AY 2013-14 and subsequent years, electronically [Refer Notification No.: 34/2013 dated 01-05-2013].

22 July 2013 If you rec int more then Rs 10,000 on deposit then bank will deduct Tds and for that u need to file itr for claiming tds refund if u dont have further any taxable income.
