27 July 2017 Sir, A registered dealer purchased goods from manufacturer and send the same goods directly to us (another registered manufacturer) for job work purpose. Can the dealer send goods on invoice of goods purchased from manufacturer and directly shipped to job worker for job work?

27 July 2017 Yes, the delivery address will have to be given in addition to recipient address. Delivery address will be of job worker. Recipient address will be of actual buyer.

28 July 2017 OK sir, but is it necessary to issue job work challah by the dealer to job worker?

28 July 2017 Not necessary if invoice is proper. E way bill will be required but that will become applicable later.

28 July 2017 Sir, how it will be declared in transition while job work challah not issued by dealer and in later if the goods returned after job work then is it considered as supply of goods and counted in aggregate turnover of job worker?

28 July 2017 A delivery challan will be issued by job worker on sending the goods to the dealer. No GST on supply of goods. GST will be charged on job work charges.
