11 December 2012 can anyone pls inform me the complete procedure of gift of immovable property. becoz i have to transfer my father's house in the name of my mother by way of gift.

12 December 2012 Make a gift deed on the non judicial stamp paper. Get it registered at the sub registrare office. The same amount of stamp duty as is required for regular transfer is to be paid.
(Exceptions: transfer within FAMILY are exempt from stamp duty subject to certain conditions. Please check if you satisfy those conditions, with LAWYER)
