Is gift of more than 2 lakh by grand mother to grand son who earns more than 15 lakh Tax free ? Where such gift deed be registered ? Because Registrar office refused to registered gift deed of money.

No requirement of gift to be registered. If you want, you can at best ask the grandmother to execute a gift deed for such transfer and still not register it
