Is Gift deed necessary for transfer for Vehicle from Father to Son for the purpose of his business.
Or can such gift can be by way of writing in a plain paper

legally specking it is imp to make deed as it will prove to be an evidence in court of law,in case if any problm later arises.

How do one determine the value such vehicle assuming it has been used for previous 2 years

Transfer of vehicle will be registered in the name of the son. The new registration certificate is substantiate proof of transfer.
