Please tell me what is the rate of GST on old car sale by authorized dealer of car.

28% on margin.

but the purchase may be from unregistered person. then it may be 28% on total amount.

As per rule 32(5) there is margin scheme on purchase & sale of old goods.
In that you have to pay tax on margin amt only. No RCM applicable if purchased from unregistered dealer & you can't avail ITC also.
